Tsundoku (積ん読) refers to the phenomenon of acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one's home without reading them.

I’ve never related so much to something. I seem to have a problem where I can’t stop buying books, even though my TBR (to be read) pile just keep getting bigger and bigger. Let’s be honest - it’s more of a shelf than a pile now. I want to read all these books - so why do I keep buying more?
